Job Description

Job PurposeReporting to Branch Manager, Safety, Security & Quality Office (SSQO), you will be responsible for SSQ Management, SQ Compliance & driving SQ Culture for STEL.Responsibilities1. Establish, maintain and implement BU level Safety Policies (e.g Level 2 - SMS) and Procedures in alignment with Corporate Policies and Procedures; and ensuring that it is communicated.
2. Assist Line Head in the review and submission of updated EHS Legal Register.
3. Manage and provide support to WSH Secretariat for registered workplace WSH Committees.
4. Assist to identify, evaluate and mitigate workplace safety risks for BU.
5. Supervise outsourced services like Route Protection Patrol (RPP) as part of regulatory requirements.
6. Implement framework to manage hazardous work like confined space, WAH, lifting and hot works, etc
7. Conduct safety compliance inspections on stations and depots to ensure full compliance with WSH requirements .
8. Promote and implement safety initiatives provided by Trains SSQ for eg e-PTW, SPIC, GembaWalk, etcQualifications & Work ExperienceQualifications and Work Experience1. Diploma/ Degree in Engineering/Business from a recognised institution with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.2. Prior Knowledge in Quality Management will be preferred.Skills1. Good knowledge in Quality Management System.2. Possess positive attitude and good communications skills with ability to work across functional teams.3. Able to work independently and under pressure of tight timeline, self- motivated, resourceful, and organized.4.
