Duties & Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Be part of the team maintaining the Integrated Assurance Framework defined by the Group, including leading practices, policies and embed practices into Singapore and other markets of operations;
  • Manage the development and review of risk and control registers with business units; assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
  • Manage, coach, support Singapore and other Markets\' control, risk and process owners.
  • Provide thought partnership, risk analytics (e.g. return on risk mitigation investments), and recommendations around remediation, risk mitigation, or process improvement to senior management and functional leaders in Singapore and other market of operations.
  • Coordinate reporting and presentation at relevant governance meetings.
  • Assists in regional review / oversight; support the analysis to identify and address thematic issues.
Compliance
  • Develop compliance program to ensure company processes adhere to local regulatory requirements (e.g. IRAS, MOM, PDP etc), compliance objectives and identify and monitor process improvements on an ongoing basis
  • Promote risk and compliance culture and raise awareness across the Group.
  • Conduct Line 2 operational / regulatory reviews
  • Engage and provide regulatory advice and support to businesses in relations to any regulatory requirements
  • Monitor, analyse and disseminate changes in applicable laws and regulations
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in compliance / risk management / internal controls / internal audit
  • Conceptual skills including quantitative methods for risk management and experience with internal control environments and frameworks (e.g. COSO, COBIT)
  • Knowledge of various functional areas, including Finance, Internal Controls, Legal, IT Security and Compliance
  • Ability to take a holistic view on issues faced, possessing strong analytical, financial and problem solving skills
  • Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, possess ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels.
  • Resilient, highly adaptable to dynamic work environments, with strong ability to influence and garner support and cooperation.
  • Self-driven and energetic, ability to work independently and equally well as a team player when the situation arises.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) skills.
