The Manager, Healthcare Surveillance will assist in the development and implementation of plans to control the spread of communicable diseases and assess the effectiveness of disease control and preparedness strategies to protect the health of migrant workers residing within the dormitories. This role contributes to ACE's overall readiness to respond to pandemics by mitigating public health risks in dormitories. The role will require working closely with external stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), National Environment Agency (NEA), and other sectorial leads when required. This collaboration ensures a coordinated approach to public health surveillance and intervention strategies.What you will be working on:

• Formulate and implement evidence-based policies to control communicable diseases xe2x80xa2 Analyse surveillance data and conduct risk analysis for public health interventions xe2x80xa2 Collaborate with agencies for deployment of surveillance modes in dormitories xe2x80xa2 Plan and implement public health interventions, including large-scale operations xe2x80xa2 Lead improvement projects for surveillance and interventions xe2x80xa2 Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational objectives xe2x80xa2 Manage the branch's budget and finances

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in any field xe2x80xa2 Experience in healthcare, operations, and implementation xe2x80xa2 Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills xe2x80xa2 Ability to work effectively across government ministries and with external stakeholders xe2x80xa2 Strong ethics and positive learning attitude xe2x80xa2 Keen interest in operations excellence and problem-solving xe2x80xa2 Ability to operate in a complex, changing environment xe2x80xa2 Financial competencies, including budget management and financial planning xe2x80xa2 Understanding of financial processes and ability to manage financial resources effectively
