Come be a part of this journey if you\'re passionate about creating boundary-pushing work that drives behavioural change.JOB DESCRIPTIONYou will be a part of HPB\'s Healthy Food & Dining (HFD) team, which strives to design, develop, and implement various strategies to make healthier food and drink options more widespread and accessible. Working with food manufacturers, retailers and F&B partners, we create a supportive environment through sustainable health promotion policies and programmes such as the Healthier Ingredients & Development Scheme (HIDS), Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS), Healthier Dining Programme (HDP), and Healthier Meals in School Programme (HMSP). Additionally, HFD aims to change Singaporeans\' eating habits through public education campaigns, large-scale promotions, and engagements via offline and online channels, such as the Eat Drink Shop Healthy Challenge, to reduce the burden of obesity in Singapore.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTAs a key member of the Healthy Food & Dining team, your key task is to develop, plan and manage the grant schemes that will directly influence the national strategies towards helping Singapore residents to make healthier dietary choices.Your role entails handling end-to-end grants administration, which includes reviewing grant applications based on specific criteria, organizing and maintaining all relevant documents, monitoring project progress and impact, processing payments, and closing grants. You will be responsible for keeping applicants informed about the status of their applications, coordinating events to promote the grants, and presenting grant proposals to internal evaluation committee. You will also issue award letters and track budget utilization. Additionally, you will do data collection and research, conduct performance analysis and recommend areas for improvement or expansion of grant categoriesYou will act as the business consultant to :Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the robustness of the grant schemes during its development and reviewsDevelop, implement and review the business grant schemes through working with businesses to incorporate healthier food options into their business modelEstablish, monitor and manage processes for business grant schemes, review and tracking, governance and audit to ensure its continued sustainability and successYou are expected to work with members of the Healthy Food and Dining team as well as other teams within HPB on programs, partnerships & initiatives. To be successful, you need to be a dynamic team player, comfortable working in a matrixed team and fast-changing environment. You will work with other team members to support, food and beverage companies, ingredient suppliers and food manufacturers in developing capabilities to increase the supply and encourage adoption of healthier ingredients and products in the long term. You will also handle audit-related matters to ensure compliance with audit and governance requirements. Your responsibilities will include meeting key performance indicators while effectively utilizing the budget, regularly reporting on progress to management and teams, and guiding and coaching junior team members.BE PART OF THE TEAMJoin us if you are a dynamic team player. Together with other team members, you will provide support and opportunities for ingredient suppliers and food manufacturers and help them develop longer-term capabilities to increase the supply of healthier ingredients/products. You should possess strong analytical, administrative and project management skills, be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects.You should also possess the followings:A good understanding of and interest in the local food industry and supply chain sceneAt least 5 years of related experience, preferably in the area of partnership management and negotiation roles. Previous experience in managing grants and/or grants portal is an added advantageExperience in marketing, business development and collaborations and customer service support processes across multiple stakeholders will be preferablePossess excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills to maintain collaborative partnerships and communicate effectively at all levelsPossess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skillsStrong judgement and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate new situations using data and analytics findingsGood quantitative and financial management skills including developing and monitoring budgetsExperience managing a team and administrative projectsIn addition, having relevant qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Social Science, Business Administration, Food Nutrition, Science and Technology or any health-related discipline/relevant experience will be an added advantage.About Health Promotion Board:Established in 2001, the Health Promotion Board\'s (HPB) vision is to build a nation of healthy people.
