Job Description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Main Duties and Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Transition Planning with development groups for East Node Indoor Attractions (ENIA).\xc2\xb7 Plan and manage Horticulture operations, analyze resources to achieve higher efficiency and productivity - provide direction and guidance to the team to achieve quality and timely completion of work tasks.\xc2\xb7 Liaise with stakeholders for day to day need and plan for ad hoc request within the limited time without affecting original maintenance schedule.\xc2\xb7 Propose landscape enhancement/ development work, research & conservation collaborations.\xc2\xb7 Control & enforce departmental policies aligned with organization\'s vision, mission and values.\xc2\xb7 Develop fiscal year work plan in terms of productivity and innovation.\xc2\xb7 Establish goals/ objectives & delegate tasks to team.\xc2\xb7 Participate and present proposal/ job completion, initiatives, etc. in management meeting/ site meeting with various departments/ vendors/ consultants, authorities, etc. as and when required.\xc2\xb7 Initiate & prepare necessary purchase requisition, goods receipt, reservation, etc. including Capex & Opex through SAP system.\xc2\xb7 Oversee horticulture operations to meet the original landscape design intent.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and coordinate with the Development Team for DLP management and record defects for timely clearance inspection leading the smooth hand over / take over.\xc2\xb7 Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.Job Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Botany, Horticulture, Forestry Science, ecology, Environmental Science / Management, Landscape Architecture or equivalent.\xc2\xb7 Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.\xc2\xb7 Professional Accreditation such as AIH Certified Practising Horticulturist, ISA certified Arborist, SILA Landscape Architect will be an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 Good plants knowledge, and prior experience in SESASMi and SAP will be an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Purpose-driven, creative, proactive, positive-thinking and possess leadership quality in managing a team.\xc2\xb7 Has a deep interest in nature and enjoys working outdoors.Specialization : Horticulture
