Job Description


JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Director of our Nursing home in Taman Jurong, you will be hands-on in managing day-to-day HR operations, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, leaves and training, employee relations and enforcing organisation policies and practices.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle the full spectrum of HR functions
  • Develop and drive HR strategies to be in line with the organisation\'s overall business plan and aligned to the organisation\'s vision, mission and core values
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which include recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified candidates
  • Manage compensation and benefits and rewards programmes
  • Handle full registration / conditional licences for nursing staff
  • Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Provide HR-related advice and solutions to managers
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years as a HR Manager, preferably in Nursing Home / healthcare environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Singapore labour laws and HR best practices
  • Possess strong communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • People-oriented, resourceful and results-driven
  • Hands-on in managing all day-to-day HR operations and HR-related issues
