Job Description


What the role is:

This is a 1-year contract position as a Manager in the CET Academy.

What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage collaborations and engagements with key internal and external partners; including relevant government agencies, to identify, drive and deliver potential programmes and/or projects leading to positive international partnership outcomes for NP.

Identify, cultivate, and implement inbound and outbound programmes, e.g. Technical and Vocational Training (TVET), Travel and Learn, training programmes and collaborations, to support NP\'s strategic objectives on the ASEAN stage.

Oversee and manage consultancy services/agreements related to international partnerships.

Turn-key manage and coordinate all outbound programmes, involving liaison with relevant government agencies and stakeholders, structuring proposals, and negotiating partnerships based on comprehensive project costing, manpower and resource planning, including funding requirements.

Develop and review workflows and processes for all inbound and outbound programmes, to recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and productivity.

Coordinate closely with government agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, seamless execution of all international programmes and/or projects.

Create enriching learning opportunities for staff and students through international partnerships.

What we are looking for:

At least 5 years of working experience in business development, partner engagement, events management and / or programme curation, especially within ASEAN, China and / or India.

Extensive network of business contacts in ASEAN, China and India, is a distinct advantage.

Demonstrate creativity and the ability to identify, conceptualise, develop, engage and deliver partnerships that meet industry needs.

Showcase a proven track record in engaging various stakeholders, building win-win relationships, and fostering collaborations.

Exhibit outgoing, robust affinity for people interactions, and excellent teamwork skills with exceptional interpersonal abilities across organisational hierarchies.

An effective communicator with strong written, presentation and facilitation skills.

Demonstrate proactiveness and resourcefulness, with solid planning, organisation, time management and prioritisation capabilities.

Display a high level of cultural sensitivity and business decorum.
