Job Overview
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. This role shall be involved in Learning & Development and Health & Safety functional HR areas. Responsibilities and Duties
Learning and Development

  • Design and develop organization training and development strategies, training programs and initiatives based on business current and future strategy to promote a learning culture and great employee experience within UD Trucks International Sales
  • Engage with business leaders and HRBPs to conduct training needs analysis in building organization learning plans.
  • Being part of UD Academy and collaborating closely with Global People & Culture team to support for training initiatives as well as HR activities
  • Support in annual talent review and partnering HRBPs to identify and develop talents within the organization as well as providing talent management leadership and subject matter expertise and guidance.
  • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing external training vendors/trainers
  • Responsible and conducting effective training programs including onboarding for new hires, train the trainer programs, better life programs to strengthen Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Review training related policies or work processes
  • Support of internship program, liaising with institutes and onboarding of interns
Health and Safety coordinator for UD Trucks Singapore

  • Development of Health & Safety policy, programs, and procedure with support of safety consultant
  • To assist in WSH committee
  • Identification and Performing of Risk Assessments
  • Conducting WSH Awareness and Training (including induction for new hires)
  • Conduct and support Incident and Accident Investigations
  • Participate in Internal inspections and audits
  • Managing and facilitate corrective actions reports
  • Reporting of WSH Incidents to MOM
  • Support and participate in annual emergency evacuation drills
Any other responsibilities that might be assigned as required
Required knowledge/experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource or Business Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge on local government regulations and employment act
Competencies & Skills
  • Independent with ability to prioritize, multitask and make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact, motivate and engage at multiple levels including senior leaders, line managers and industrial workers
  • Effective team player and strong communicator with good English verbal and written skills; other languages are beneficial
  • Strong professionalism and complete integrity
