About the Role
The Manager, Location Based Entertainment (LBE) is responsible in managing the pitching, development and production of multiple LBE licensing projects in Southeast Asia from start to finish. An exceptional communicator and multitasker, the person will be the key point of contact as related to project delivery, managing internal and external stakeholder engagement to reach the best possible quality and outcome. Reporting to General Manager, the Manager will manage all information and provide reporting in an agile environment, including critical project milestones in all phases. The successful candidate will deeply understand all aspects of the projects and their interdependencies with relevant stakeholders of the including licensees\xe2\x80\x99 team and vendors to achieve project success.Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pitch to potential Local Based Entertainment partners in Southeast Asia.
  • Establish project plans in coordination with the internal teams, licensees and third-party vendors to define project scope, milestones, responsibilities, objectives, and success metrics.
  • Manage interdepartmental support to licensees in collaboration with internal leadership, creative, partnerships, marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee support to licensees\xe2\x80\x99 team and vendors, including delivery of creative assets, brand standards, project plans, and resource requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation from pre-contract to closeout.
  • Perform regular assessments of project execution to identify areas for improvement and minimize potential risks to keep projects on brand, on time, and within budget.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships and communication processes within the company and with licensees, external design partners, consultants, and vendors to deliver the best results in the required time.
  • Set up and manage the routing, feedback, and approval processes of LBE creative, marketing, and product submissions involving the relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and contribute to value engineer efforts while ensuring high-quality IP representation in the visitor experience.
  • Participate in the prequalification and the evaluation of vendors, and provide recommendations as required for effective project execution.
  • Develop baseline schedules and provide regular progress updates on all LBE project activities to set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
  • Participate in design reviews and coordination with various vendors.
  • Create and manage processes, planning, and reference documents such as responsibility assignment matrices (RACI \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed), timelines, budgets, and approvals.
  • Assist in developing LBE operations strategy and business plans to benefit the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategies and business objectives.
  • Review and track approval processes and project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met.
  • Maintain consistent relationships and clear workflow with Sanrio HQ and licensees through regular update meetings and contact, including providing meeting notes, milestones, and deadlines throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Arrange and document post-mortems on projects assessing creative, approvals and development processes to improve future project delivery.
  • Act as an internal quality control check for LBE project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or other related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of location-based entertainment in Southeast Asia or relevant experience in design-build implementation and/or project management.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire both internal and external teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and popular project management tools (example Gantt chart)
