The Planning Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Planners and Buyers. They will have to ensure an efficient planning and management of the production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements with the most efficient utilization of the company\xe2\x80\x99s productive capacity. In addition, it is important that an adequate support is provided to perform a high-level evaluation of the capacity requirements, a high-level monitoring of production readiness and materials availability. A constant focus should be put in the improvement of responsible areas and in supporting activities related to SAP system maintenance, optimization and use. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Successfully coordinate assigned resources. Ensure Manufacturing Planners schedule production for the assigned manufacturing areas balancing at best demand and supply. Engage in the internal S&OP process execution. Reliably connect with other functions (e.g. manufacturing, QA, QC managers/supervisors/team leaders) to minimize constraints and optimize existing flows. Ensure adequate level of monitoring is in place to optimize production readiness: raw materials and components inventory, materials approval status and relevant manufacturing docs availability. Supervise production performance and assures that SAP system/MRP parameters are adequately updated by Team members (e.g. working center, working cycle,\xe2\x80\xa6). Support direct reports in the customer concern or directly raise and resolve issues where there is reason to believe that outstanding risk, duration, or magnitude of client dissatisfaction exists. Recognize problems, analyze and recommend solutions. Collaborate with internal customers and provide customer happiness, including recommending solutions, resources and alternative supply options. Establish processes and leverage systems to efficiently plan & evaluate capacity with a growth mindset. Support in the periodic update of procedures related to production and materials planning process. Closely collaborate with the Procurement to ensure timely ordering of all materials needed taking into consideration suppliers replenishment lead time, supporting in case of customer concerns needed to expedite/optimize deliveries. Ensure the coordination and the control of the direct reports, by means of the definition of the objectives, the improvement of the acquired results, the analysis of the training and development needs, in order to ensure a high level of performance and motivation. Any activities as assigned by the Supervisor KEY REQUIREMENT Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel). SAP/MRP knowledge is a must Demonstrated ability in a similar function. Good English level (written and spoken). COMPETENCIES Strong multitasking skills, well organized and good interpersonal skills at all level. Good problem solving and reasoning skills to optimally take care of problems varying in complexity. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight dateline, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.
