JOB SUMMARY:

Sensient Beauty is a global leader in the development and manufacture of cosmetic colors and ingredients for use throughout the world. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible of its current product portfolio as well as the new product development process from the ideation step to the launch on the market in his/her region. The successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for creating strategies to grow Sensient Beauty revenue pipeline. He or She will be managing one product manager and will be working in coordination with the Global Marketing Director based in Europe as well as the worldwide marketing teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify unique customer needs and develop a tailored Sensient value proposition and product for each key end customer.
• Coordinate, prepare, and deliver powerful presentations, ideation sessions, and technical seminars that demonstrate Sensient\'s Beauty value proposition and how a direct relationship with an ingredient supplier is beneficial.
• Develop pricing strategies that deliver ROI and customer value.
• Manage participation at conferences, trade association meetings, and trade shows in order to promote Sensient\'s expertise and capabilities.
• Product introduction

• Understand and analyze market segmentation and customers\' needs to drive product launches
• Drive NPD project management with the different teams involved
• Ensure exhaustive product launches with complete products\' launch package
• Prepare sales pitch and value propositions with technical and sales team
• Management of existing range and product documentation

• Coordinate with Product Managers from other Sensient Beauty\'s affiliate to ensure best in class communication of products\' status, and products\' changes.
• Improve sales pitch and the value proposition for all the products. Product positioning versus competition.
• Improve portfolio efficiency by identifying items that add complexity to the portfolio and come up with suggestion to address the issues.
• Ensure data consistency over all technical documentation for Sensient\'s products by working with cross-functional teams.
• Seeks ways and methods to better serve customers both external and internal.
• Marketing Data analyses / Marketing Intelligence

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s degree is required in Science, Marketing, Business or a related field. MBA will be a plus.
• Ten years\' progressive business experience with at least five years in a Sales or Marketing role.
• Experience or knowledge with the Cosmetic and/or Personal Care Industry is preferred.
• Must be a leader and self-starter who is seeking upward mobility.
• Periodical exposure to laboratory and manufacturing plant conditions.
• Occasional international travel with APAC region and worldwide.

ABOUT SENSIENT NEW GLOBAL INNOVATION CENTER (GIC) IN SINGAPORE:

Sensient new global innovation center GIC will bring together scientists and technologists from many different Sensient business units, including: Food colors and flavors - Pharmaceutical - Sensient natural ingredients - Bionutrients - Cosmetics and Speciality Markets.

With a focus on new product development and application extension, the Center will exemplify deep collaboration and cross-pollination of Sensient Groups. This will allow the teams to innovate in a broader sensory context of flavor, color, texture, sight and aroma.
