Mediacorp Marketing Solutions position is a critical role that will drive marketing creativity, improve sales impact and performance, with a dedicated focus. The Marketing Solutions team is an important conduit between the Commercial team and other Mediacorp internal stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring that the organisation has the right partnership solutions and execution plans in place to meet our commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Work closely with Segment Customer Groups (CGs – e.g., News, English, Chinese) and other key stakeholders to:
identify sponsorship opportunities for Mediacorp’s content offerings
design and roll-out audience segment-specific creative sponsorship solutions/proposals to maximise sponsorship revenue
ensure content relevance per clients' requirements & market trends
maintain optimal go-to-market timelines for sales monetisation
review and scope sectors advertising spend across Mediacorp vs ADEX with a view to map the growth sectors against Mediacorp’s content pillars
As content expert to the Commercial team, develop advertiser/sector-specific sponsorship ideas targeted at meeting the needs of the various advertisers/sectors
Enhance the value proposition of the proposals by tapping on research data from the Consumer Insights team to pivot to audience selling
Keep abreast with the marketing trends and developments, to be in a position to give feedback, value-add and proactively develop relevant and new sponsorship ideas for Commercial team to go to market
Project manage, i.e., coordinate efforts across various business units to ensure fulfilment of sponsorship commitments.
Implement and manage the day-to-day cross-functional collaboration amongst key stakeholders
Track progress and manage deadlines
Anticipate and manage risks, problem-solving
Gather post-campaign feedback and prepare post-campaign evaluation
Drive operational logistics for the business, measuring progress against business goals, facilitating weekly CG WIP meetings, CG updates and creating business updates/reviews.
Improve Commercial team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices across teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
10+ years of marketing/product management/or advertising experience.
Knowledge of key technologies/concepts in area of marketing communications
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate product positioning
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to engage with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders
