We are now looking for a Finance Manager, APAC to join our Finance & Business Operations (FBO) team in Singapore. Who is your future team The FBO APAC team at Axis Communications consists of more than 40 dedicated and experienced colleagues, build on 4 pillars: Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Excellence, and Business Operations. Our mission is to be a proactive business partner contributing to the growth of Axis' business. We do this by supporting daily operations, ensuring compliance, alignment, and efficiency, and at the same time engaging in tactical and strategical planning. The Finance team you will be heading up consists of more than a dozen colleagues and is divided into four teams, focusing on SAP & Oceania, North Asia, Japan, and India, respectively, all of which are headed by a regional finance manager. The regional finance teams are responsible for reporting, and compliance with financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. What will you do As a Finance Manager, APAC, you will be overall responsible for APAC maintaining internal controls & coordinating annual audits (statutory, tax, IFRS audit). You will guide and support your regional finance managers in their roles, with a focus on the overall accounting function, establishing and enforcing all accounting policies and procedures. You will be focusing on the finance operations' efficiency, identifying needed resources, and developing the right structure and capabilities for continued long-term growth. You will have the overall ownership of the continued development and compliance with financial policies and procedures, with a focus on strengthening internal control. Your focus will be to establish processes and guidelines for us to work smart and efficient across all regions and teams, where we strive for alignment where possible, still with a focus on local needs. You will also be a driver for our continued finance business partner approach, by building partnerships and relationships with all functional leaders and their teams.. We would like you to provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies and tactics, and to initiate and implement carefully selected business performance indicators in order to monitor performance and progress. You will monitor the company's financial strategic planning by examining its performance and potential challenges and risks. You will collaborate closely with HQ Finance in Lund, Sweden, to ensure collaboration and alignment on daily procedures and development projects. You will ensure the Credit Control Policies for APAC billing entities are aligned with HQ direction. You will also be part of the APAC Finance and Business Operations Management, and have a great range of colleagues, where you can exchange ideas and learnings, and thus develop professionally within Finance, Leadership and Axis. Who are we looking for We believe that you are a service-minded and proactive person with solid social and communication skills. You enjoy analytical challenges and have the ability to see things from a holistic perspective. You are passionate about building a relationship with people. We also believe that you have: B.S degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 to 7 years experience in an accounting/financial management role. Experience in process improvement, and alignment. Being able to think out of the box, and add a holistic view. Solid track record in people management and development. Experience in audit and a CPA or equivalent is a plus. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting management system software. Knowledge of IFS is considered a plus. Fluent in English and other languages is a bonus.
