The incumbent will report to the Director / Head of People & Culture and be responsible for providing strategic Human Resource support to the businesses. He/She will work with the respective HR Centre of Excellences (COEs) teams, Rewards, Shared Services, People Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition to implement various HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Provide insight and sound advisory to Business in manpower headcount and cost planning.
  • Deliver total manpower optimization and improved productivity through business transformations.
  • Lead the job redesign and Professional Conversion Accelerator program to convert roles
  • Strengthen the digital capabilities of the workforce and ensure key capabilities are retained/built to deliver key business initiatives.

Talent Acquisition, Retention and Management
  • Work closely with acquisition team to ensure talent pipeline through innovative hiring methods.
  • Manage the Annual Performance Review exercise, adopt strategy to retain key capabilities. Provide guidance, advice and training to Lines on managing performance issues at all levels.
  • Partner Talent Management and leadership team to ensure consistent emerging leaders pipeline to critical mission roles and implement development intervention plan to develop next generation leaderships
  • Partner People Development team to deliver career pathways, competency refresh and create belonging, impact and growth for the employees

Sustain Highly Engaged Employees
  • Build relationship with the Line at all levels and provide consistent and prompt HR services.
  • Cultivate strong people managers to deliver annual exercises like annual performance review, talent review within appropriate timeframe and to a desired level of service.

The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • Degree in Human Resource or equivalent, iHRP certification will be a plus.
  • 8 years of experience in HR business partnering and working in a matrix organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience at senior management level.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR plans and solutions, dealing with organization strategies and complex business/HR issues.
  • Ability to apply HR generalist knowhow to varied business environment
  • Strong task, cost and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Flexible customer focus and ability to handle multiple complex tasks under constant pressure
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving ability, conceptual thinking ability.
  • Good level of reasoning capability, good active listener.
