The Pan Pacific Orchard presents the pinnacle of design by award-winning WOHA, located in Singapore\'s prime district Orchard Road. The 23-floor destination hotel redefines the city\'s landscape with four themed open-air terraces of distinctive design concepts - Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud. Nestled amidst the Forest Terrace is new signature restaurant Mosella, which will introduce a sharing concept of Mediterranean cuisine with a refreshing Peruvian twist. The Beach Terrace will bring a resort-like experience to the heart of the city, and above, the Garden Terrace will be home to Florette, the Champagne & Oysters specialty bar. At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\xe2\x80\x99s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom. The Role

The Manager, People & Culture will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner the Director, People & Culture on strategic and operational initiatives through planning, implementation, review and continuous improvement of policies, programs, and practices.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, recruitment planning, on and off-boarding
  • Review policies, procedures and standards; ensure that they are being communicated and complied with.
  • Guide, coach and provide direction to operational managers/supervisors on all Human Resource functions and matters.
  • Handle Associate work related issues and complaints; conduct investigations as required
  • Facilitate the hotel\'s performance feedback system
  • Manage and administer the company\'s benefits programs
  • Work closely with Learning & Development Manager to identify training needs and developmental activities for associates
  • Assist with all Engagement programmes and activities. Lead the administration of the Associate Satisfaction Survey and its process
  • Recommend and assist with the coordination of staff welfare and recognition events and activities, including the management of Associate locker room, rest room, Cafeteria etc
  • Oversee internal recognition programs; evaluate such programs regularly to ensure they are meeting goals and providing value
  • Assist with the department\'s budget preparation and overall hotel\'s manpower budget and the annual planning process
  • Oversee Worker\'s Compensation and other Associate Insurance and its administration
  • Monitor timely and accurate submission of documents by the Team to Payroll for payment processing
  • Responsible and work closely with cafeteria caterer to ensure adequate and timely provision of quality food / duty meals for all Associates
  • Coordinate the placement of up-to date articles, notices on the Associate notice boards
  • Collate and prepare periodic HR reports and reports for Authorities for timely submissions






Talent Profile

If you have at least 5 - 8 years of HR experience as a generalist with at least 2 years in a supervisor capacity, is a go-getter and an effective comunicator, with the ability to manage challenging situations please call us to have a chat.
