Role Responsibilities Purpose

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) is transforming its Source-to-Pay and Risk Management capabilities through becoming process driven.
The SCM Ariba Transformation Manager will be accountable for
  • Bringing in-depth knowledge and experience of previous SAP Ariba implementations and/or solutions.
  • Providing expert industry and tooling process design to Global Process Leads.
  • Leading and delivering ad hoc projects.
  • Provide operational & technical problem solving L3 support.
  • Contributing to the Source to Pay transformation roadmap through gathering voice of customer.
  • The SCM Process Transformation Manager will also be heavily involved in programme management activities in support of the Head of Process & Business Improvement - SCM.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be recognised as the SCM subject matter expert for SAP Ariba.
  • Provide relevant benchmarks / reference points on similar implementations / transformations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and simplification.
  • Identify gaps and propose possible solutions.
  • Drive the user experience agenda and provide onsite support.
  • Implement disruptive / innovative solutions.
  • Develop a network and provide insight from other industries / organisations.
  • Deliver targeted education and awareness sessions.
  • Provide L3 support to Integrated SCM Helpdesk / SCM Operations / PSS / TTO.
  • Support the Head of Process & Business Improvement - SCM to develop and create value from SAP relationship.
  • Participate and represent SCB in industry events.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years of procurement system implementations/transformations (with a heavy focus on SAP Ariba).
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of working across the full Procure/Source to Pay process.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop trusted relationships and provide operational support.
  • Track record of driving adoption, delivering behavioural change and leading effective training/upskilling.
  • Experience of Agile working.
