Provide support for the International Advisory Council (IAC) initiative in a secretariat capacity. He/She will be required to schedule and plan IAC meetings and related activities, prepare IAC meeting agendas, collate materials required for management\xe2\x80\x99s presentation during meetings, and prepare minutes of the IAC meetings.
Track membership renewals and appointments, and provide support for member\xe2\x80\x99s onboarding.
Spearhead marketing communications efforts, including but not limited to e-newsletters, OA/IAC microsite, and digital marketing materials.
Responsible for the development, production, marketing and execution of SMU IAC events in Singapore and around the region that are aligned with the IAC\xe2\x80\x99s mission and are well curated to demonstrate SMU\xe2\x80\x99s thought leadership.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders in IAC markets to ensure that the events are well aligned and executed.
Responsible for delivering events on time, within budget, and that meet if not exceed expectations.
Keep abreast of trends in the industry.
Qualifications:
Degree with at least 8 years of working experience preferably in a marketing and communications role or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing and events management.
A good command of English is a must.
Proficiency in web publishing and digital marketing is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively, and be able to work with internal and external senior stakeholders.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all circumstances.
An effective team-player, mature and is able to work independently.
Meticulous with attention to important details.
Willingness to travel in the region.
