About the Function:Manage execution of HR strategies & plans, policies and processes related to recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, and talent management; drive operational efficiencies related to productivity, people policies & practices, employee engagement and regional HR issues to improve business outcome. Work to institutionalize processes outlined by policies and drive ownership within employee groups.Broad outline of the RoleThis role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day HR operations and supporting HR regional and corporate initiatives. It requires effective interlock with HR teams, support functions, various business units and external service partners to ensure optimum HR service delivery in the region. This position is also accountable to plan and execute employee engagement activities in the region.Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations - New Hire Onboarding and Induction, Offboarding.
  • Assist in the regular review and documentation of HR policies, processes and systems.
  • Maintain the integrity of APAC portal and the permanent employees Personal Files.
  • Work with various HR, employees, managers and support teams to ensure closure of onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • Drive HR operations activities such as onboarding, offboarding and employee insurance activities for APAC region (mainly Singapore).
  • Partner closely with insurance brokers for employee flexible benefits and insurance activities such as claims escalation, informing of new joiners and resignations.
  • Design and implement onboarding program for APAC region. Responsible to measure process effectiveness and implement actions for continuous improvement.
  • In partnership with HRSS, regularly review issues around onboarding and offboarding and identify solutions to ensure compliance and utilisation of tool and its intended purpose.
  • Responsible for the delivery of Regional Induction for the region once every quarter.
  • Employee Engagement & Learning and Development.
  • Deliver employee communication in all forms and medium consistent with the Tata Communications employee value proposition and internal/external communications guidelines.
  • Design and execute employee engagement, wellness and vitality programs.
  • Drive learning & development initiatives for APAC region.
  • Provide administrative support in managing the Region\'s learning and development program which include but not limited to monitoring fulfilment of leadership development programs, liaising with training partners, reporting of local training completion outside the purview of Corporate L&D, application for government grants and subsidies.
  • Take part in the execution of all central HR projects and other HR initiatives in the region.
Minimum qualification & experience
  • A Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field is required.
  • 3-5 years work experience in HR function.
  • Strong understanding of Employment Law of Singapore and at least one other Southeast Asian market.
