About the Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Regional Supply Chain, Asia South, you are required to define priorities for regional supply chain excellence and setup implementation action-plans ac About the Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Regional Supply Chain, Asia South, you are required to define priorities for regional supply chain excellence and setup implementation action-plans across Asia South region. You are responsible to manage the regional supply chain optimisation linking Planning, Logistics and OTC to support the supply chain operations. The role includes setting customers' priorities, service level supply chain KPIs, supporting Days of Inventory, and ensuring the supply chain flow to Asia South customers is optimised as per the business strategy. Alongside, you are required to drive excellence in reporting and analytics capabilities to increase transparency and supply chain visibility across the entire regional organisation. You are required to provide insights and scenario-based simulations to drive process improvements. Key requirement is also to collaborate with Global Supply Chain Management, Regional Supply Chain teams and Digitalisation team to incubate, implement and monitor supply-chain related digital initiatives within the regions. This position is based in Singapore. Key Accountabilities: Supply Chain & Network Strategy Implement and setup standard supply chain processes and systems in line with global direction, providing functional advice and expertise Conduct sub-regional deep dives and fit / gap evaluations identify and actively challenge deviations to standards and recommend improvements Ensure individual projects are implemented in a sustainable manner as well as being delivered to the project plan Continually develop and upgrade in-depth understanding of supply chain trends to fuel continuous improvement Performance Management through Control Tower Lead the development and publishing of metrics and visualizations to drive sustainability and productivity improvement in Regional Supply Chain, with focus on demand/supply planning, delivery reliability, inventory optimization, and supply chain design risk Lead regular review of logistics variable cost and provide input into its optimisation process Support contingency planning and risk management activities Partner with Global Control Tower team to manage logistics performance and influence overall supply chain strategy Supply Chain Innovation Understand and translate operational / business needs to solution-level architecture and process improvement Define digital initiatives, implement digital solution and deliver expected business outcome Drive a data-driven culture that leverages leading indicators and connects data to strategy Focus on understanding and translating operational / business needs to solution-level architecture and process improvement Utilise functional and technical mastery and business knowledge to consistently improve processes and apply technology solutions to automate manual processes Business Strategy & Leadership Contribute to the development and refinement of the vision and long-term strategy for Borouge, and contribute to the overall process of corporate governance, management and decision making to ensure the organisation maximises returns to its shareholders Lead the development and implementation of the Asia South function's Business Strategy, ensuring that the overall business goals are fully supported by the function Monitor the cascade and translation of business long and short-term plans are effectively converted into the function's acceptable performance objectives in line with established service levels Assess the functional capabilities and staffing level to ensure meeting the output expectations by the team. Empower, recommend motivate the team towards uplifting their competencies in relation with their occupations and projects Operational Plans Support the development of the function's annual operational plans and optimal budget in line with Unit's business objectives ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all functional activities within the agreed parameters and service levels including effective interfaces with Company's stakeholders and internal contributors Support the function leadership in operations and achievement to ensure achieving the desired outputs and performance by the team Implement and continuously monitor the achievement of the function's KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card for the function to reinforce an organisation-wide drive for performance Manage the development and ensure proper cascade of the function's Performance objectives into the sections and establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure delivery of these objectives, and promote a performance driven culture Process Management & Continuous Improvement Create and foster an organisation culture that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation and supports initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve function's operations and services Lead the evaluation of internal processes against best practices in pursuit of more efficient functional processes in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function Lead the development and implementation of appropriate functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls, includes ensuring compliance with shareholders and Company guidelines in order to support execution of the Company's work programs in line with Local & Federal laws and International standards Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and legal regulations and propose solutions to the management on issues related to the function Borouge Corporate Responsibilities The jobholder, as a member of Borouge family, is an integral part of achieving Borouge Mission, living and promoting Borouge Values throughout the role towards Borouge Vision Awareness of Borouge corporate aspects in the areas of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Sustainability, Energy Management, Ethics & Regulations, and Quality Management The employee is accountable to keep abreast and knowledgeable about his/her role contribution towards the related objectives, policies, frameworks, procedures, and communications for the corporate aspects The employee shall support Borouge's strategies and aspects in enriching the desired culture through his / her internal and external communications About You: Minimum Qualifications University degree in Supply Chain, Management or related Engineering Discipline Advanced degree such as MBA preferable Fluency in English Language written and oral Very good understanding of supply chain functions and its dependencies Financial Analysis Business Scenarios, and data modelling Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills Minimum of 10 - 15 years of total experience in Supply Chain, Strategy and Business Performance Knowledge of Borouge product range, applications and polymer production Strong project management skills, and outstanding planning and scheduling skills Hands-on supply chain' planning processes demand, supply, logistics, replenishment & Customer Service Ability to understand financial statements, cost accounting and demonstrate skills in estimating budgets and preparing financial business cases Proven creativity / innovation in solving complex problems and improving global supply chain operations Knowledge on using ERP (SAP APO / R3 / BW) and other available supply chain analysis tools. Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes Good knowledge of SAP Advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools Professional Certifications Preferred to be Certification in Supply Chain Management
