Manager, Rewards

Rewards and Well Being Team supports the formulation and implementation of a competitive and sustainable global Rewards & Well Being framework that supports the Group’s vision to be a leading communications and digital service provider. The incumbent, together with other team members, and in consultation with Rewards Lead, is responsible for:

  • Rewards Policies and Processes
    • Review and develop Rewards policies to attract, motivate and retain talent necessary to support business strategy across business units (BUs) and in various geographies of operations.
    • Research and analyze best practices on various rewards levers for application to the BUs.
    • Support the team in major exercises such as annual performance calibration process, annual remuneration and promotion review, January promotion and salary adjustment review, entry pay review and other projects assigned.
    • Streamline and improve workflow processes for operational efficiency.
    • Support the updates and review of Rewards related modules on HRCentral.
    • Develop and conduct learning on rewards management for People & Culture (P&C) partners and Line.
    • Communicate policy changes through various channels, e.g. briefings, infographics, etc.
    • Conduct analysis, reviews and reporting of the remuneration policies and programs for to support continued strong corporate governance.
    • Manage relationships with consultants and other third-party providers to deliver on Group Rewards objectives.


  • Rewards Partnering
    • Work with P&C partners to provide consulting services to the assigned BUs on all Rewards related matters.
    • Work with P&C team to support BUs in major exercises such as Performance calibration exercise and remuneration cycles. Conduct analysis for Annual Remuneration Review proposal and facilitate the roll up by vertical business groups and ensure accuracy in the analytic reports.
    • Manage the job evaluation process together with BU Rewards lead. Validate job evaluation for new and expanded roles in the BU.
    • Review and establish the sales commission and incentive framework for assigned BUs.
    • Harmonize the sales commission and incentive plans, documentation and processes across the BUs where required.
    • Work with BU Rewards lead to ensure the market competitiveness and affordability of sales incentive plans. Research and analyze best practices on sales incentive plans.


  • Rewards Partnering for International locations
    • Work with respective P&C Partners to review and propose rewards and benefits related matters of our international offices, such as employee insurance program, compensation data submission to consulting companies, benefits and incentive programs review
    • Support the team in managing the international Annual Remuneration review exercises, implementing payout models, manage recommendations and finally getting sign-off for payroll runs for respective BUs.


  • Performance Management
    • Manage the annual performance management cycle and processes for the BUs (e.g. target-setting, mid-cycle and end-cycle reviews) both globally and locally.
    • Utilize reporting tools to track and encourage adherence for an effective performance management process.
    • Support the Group performance calibration exercise, including pre and post-calibration processes

The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • Degree in Business or related subjects
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience including managing large workforce in the IT/ ICT industry
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Familiar with Hay job evaluation
  • Familiarity with salary benchmarking of Mercer, Hay and Radford preferred
  • Familiar with employment legislations
  • Familiarity with global mobility and rewards practices for APAC preferred
  • Project management skills to drive process enhancement and improve customer experience
  • Proactive, responsive and accurate service delivery in high-paced environments
  • Ability to build connections with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skill
