Job Purpose
The Manager, Operations Safety, Security, Quality and Audits (SSQA) Section reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Support Branch.
The Manager, Operations SSQA Section ensures that operational processes in CCL relating to safety, security and quality are met through rigorous routine audits.
Responsibilities
1. Leads a team to ensure that operational processes in CCL relating to safety, security and quality are met through rigorous routine audits.
2. Leads his team to plan and conduct regular internal audits (e.g. Incident management, safety and track access) at CCL in addition to the external and corporate-led audits.
3. Summarise the audit findings and the necessary follow up actions
4. Undertakes the role of the lead representative for ISO9000, 14000, 45000, 55,000 and OHSAS18001
5. Track and report Service Quality related KPIs for the department and work closely with the Trains Service Quality Team to drive service-related initiatives.
6. Facilitates all external and corporate-led audits and monitor the progress of the rectification works for findings reported by the auditors.
7. Serves as the gatekeeper for Work Instructions, Operations Procedures and Operations Circulars for both OCC and CCL Stations.
8. Reviews operational documents regularly by receiving input from both Control Operations, Station Operations and Maintenance sections to ensure the currency and relevance of these document.
9. Prepare any other reports for submission to the Management as and when required.
10. Deployment of fast response team members and dissemination of information during emergencies or train service disruptions.
11. Support the Stations in crowd and incident management during emergencies or train service disruptions.
12. Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Supervisors.
13. Concurrent Ops appointment: CCL Rail Incidents Management Plan (RIMP) Secretariat.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Degree in relevant discipline or Diploma in Engineering discipline with supervisory experiences in railway industry or public transport operations.
