Reports to the Head of Department.
To lead and guide the underwriting team under your leadership and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and producers, ensuring effective risk management for the company.
Responsible for building rapport with producers to solicit business opportunities to grow Motor and Home Insurance portfolio.
Responsible for growing profitable business segments, providing new business quotation, review renewals and refer to the HOD for discussion and approval when necessary.
Assist the HOD in overseeing the department to ensure its smooth and effective business operations.
Delegate duties to subordinates and ensuring their best delivery of outcome.
Liaise and manage intermediaries in communication of company’s products, policies and monitor their performance and credit status etc.
Attend to clients’ enquiries, feedback and complaints.
Assist HOD in preparing and submission of weekly and monthly performance reports.
Any other tasks assigned by the company/ HOD

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
Degree or Diploma in CGI with more than 10 years’ working experience in financial sector
CGI, HI certification
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Personal Lines Insurance
Good communication skills
Ability to lead a team
