Job Purpose

Responsible for conducting organisational Threats Vulnerabilities Risks Assessment (TVRA). Assist the branch manager in the planning, developing, and managing of security measures and physical enhancement projects and obtaining government co-funding for security projects & expenditures.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of a Manager, Security Plans & Development are as listed below. Note that the below list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

• Conduct & assess organisational physical security vulnerabilities risk assessment.
• Plan and implement security measures and initiatives to mitigate known security vulnerabilities.
• Plan, manage and implement security enhancement projects.
• Drive and facilitate in obtaining government co-funding for security projects and expenditures.
• Provide security related advice or assessments to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain technological watch to seek out innovative solutions and/or advance equipment to address existing security concerns.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external governmental agencies on security related issues.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree in Management & Security Studies / Security Management / Project Management or equivalent.
• Min. 4 years of relevant experience as an executive in security related position
• Min. 2 years of experience in planning and managing physical security enhancement projects.
