Job Description


What the role is:In Singapore, there are over 500 Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and over 20,000 socialservice professionals (SSPs), delivering services across Families, Children & Youth,Disability, Mental Health, Seniors and other emerging areas.The Leadership Transformation team aims to enhance the Board (of Directors) andleadership capabilities of SSAs, to build more sustainable and effective organisations todeliver services for service users. The team does this by developing targeted policies (e.g.leadership competencies, Board diversity) and programmes (e.g. training, talentmanagement) to shape and grow the pool of leaders for the sector.As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for designing/leading projects andpolicies that enable and support leadership development for the sector, aligned with thenational strategies and prioritiesWhat you will be working on:Responsibilities may include:
1.Design programmes and policies to improve the capabilities of Boards and leaders (e.g. competency frameworks, talent management programmes, course curriculum, professional development grants) in SSAs.
2.Review the effectiveness and outcomes of programmes/policies.
3.Build strong partnerships with SSAs, government bodies, non-profit groups, schools, and private sector to design content, tools and learning solutions to address sector\'s leadership capabilities needs.
4.Leverage data and analysis to maintain knowledge of industry trends in leadership development, and find solutions to complex/complicated problems.
5.Coordinate and manage various leadership capability resources, and structure clear leadership development pathways to facilitate growth of emerging sector leadersWhat we are looking for:Core Competencies:

Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in project management and/or programme/policy development roles.
