Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:In this role, you will be part of the team to foster greater partnership between Sport Singapore and the National Sports Associations (NSAs). The partnership serves to enhance the performance of the NSAs in terms of Governance, Business Capability, Pathway Development and High Performance as part of a larger effort to enable the sporting ecosystem to deliver the desired outcomes for Vision 2030. In this role, you will work on: 1. High Performance Programme Management a. Work in partnership with NSAs to identify, select and support high performance athletes (Carded and spexScholarship athletes) within the Singapore Sports Institute. b. Collaborate with coaches, sports scientists and sports medicine personnel in developing, implementing and monitoring programmes for selected high performance athletes. 2. High Performance Systems Development a. Generate systems to support athlete development for example a revised carding model, major games campaign funding. b. Review existing support systems at regular intervals to ensure efficient and sustainable use of resources. 3. Regular engagement and joint planning efforts with NSAs on governance, capability development and pathway development.What we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Sports Science or any other sports-related fields. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years of High Performance Programme experience with strong background in either coaching or high performance sports administration. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant experience in athlete management with a strong emphasis on achieving key performance indicators. \xe2\x80\xa2 An understanding of the use of sports science to develop high performance athletes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess a learning mindset with a strong ability to work in teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Passion for sport and connection with Vision 2030. \xe2\x80\xa2 Capable of engaging a diverse group of stakeholders in the spirit of building partnerships. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work across a range of areas/sports possibly outside your current area of expertise. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good conceptual, analytical and project management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records.
