What the role is:Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families to realise their hopes and aspirations, as they overcome challenges and support each other. As part of the Family Legislation team in the Family and Early Childhood Division, you will contribute to MSF's mission of fostering strong and stable families, delivering family-centric services which harness the power of data and technology to transform the family landscape.What you will be working on:You will work with policy officers and other stakeholders such as the Attorney-General's Chambers, the Family Justice Courts, and the Ministry of Law to: 1. Review the legislation supporting our policies and programmes to ensure that they remain relevant and updated, including the following: Women's Charter; Child Development Co-Savings Act; Mental Capacity Act; and Maintenance of Parents Act, 2. Amend or introduce primary and secondary legislation, through the stages of policy development, legal drafting, Parliamentary approval, as well as gazetting and promulgation of legislation.What we are looking for:
