Job Description

What the role is:Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations, strengthen familial bonds, and support them in overcoming challenges. You will be part of the Partnership Division to develop and curate content to strengthen families, design and execute communications and engagement plans for family programmes, and work with stakeholders and volunteers to deliver family initiatives. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will collaborate with the people, private and public sectors to actively recruit, grow, train and develop volunteers to promote strong families in Singapore.What you will be working on:

• Actively recruit and develop volunteers to promote strong families in Singapore \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with private sector, social service agencies (SSAs) and people sector to grow network of volunteers \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and implement volunteer management processes such as recruitment, training, activation, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the engagement and account management of the SSAs, who are our key partners in curating volunteering opportunities \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify volunteer training needs and organise training programmes for volunteers \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate and implement volunteering platforms \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and organise volunteer engagement and appreciation sessions \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage volunteer management system, budget, procurement and resources

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Pleasant and positive personality, enjoys interacting with people from different backgrounds \xe2\x80\xa2 Driven and self-motivated, able to multi-task \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and a good team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in volunteer management will be an advantage
