Manager, Volunteer & Partnership (volunteer Centre)

Job Description


:

  • Drive development of a new volunteer centre which includes establishing the volunteer processes of recruitment, training and development pathways, deployment and enrolment, retention and recognition
  • Drive necessary evaluation and all critical reporting processes under the Volunteer Centre
  • Drive and sustain effective partnership with all stakeholders in the volunteer ecosystem- such as the learning institutions, corporates, grassroots and public organisations
  • Identify emerging approaches, volunteerism trends and impact that will value add to the volunteer engagement strategies and approaches
  • Manage and maintain volunteer database and administrative documentations pertaining to the Volunteer Centre
  • Develop operational strategies to outreach to volunteers and partners, develop channels of recruitment, engagement, and retention, and deploy volunteers based on the Bukit Merah / Serangoon community partners\xe2\x80\x99 needs
  • Create volunteering opportunities, programmes and activities to increase volunteer support in the partner organisations
  • Build a volunteer friendly culture within the organisation and beyond with the volunteers & partners in the community.
  • Regularly engage to review the needs of the the partner organisations for volunteer support
Qualifications:
  • Degree of any discipline, preferably in Communications and relevant experience in volunteer and partnership engagement
  • Minimally 3-4 years in volunteer management and/or community partnerships
  • Experience liaising and working with grassroots (leaders, CCs, RC network etc)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Google Drive
  • Strategic thinker, resourceful and able to develop a network of potential partners and volunteers
  • Pleasant, resourceful and proactive
  • Good collaborative and stakeholder management skills to work across disciplines and sectors
  • Strong problem solving and planning skills
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds and sectors
  • Proficiency in digital skills (e.g. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign etc) is an added advantage
  • Willing to travel around Singapore for work (mostly either around Serangoon/Bukit Merah area)
