About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Monitoring real-time attendance and making adjustments as needed to meet service level goals.
  • Collaborating with team leaders and managers to understand staffing needs and align schedules accordingly.
  • Analyzing historical data and forecasting future workload to make informed scheduling decisions.
  • Managing schedule adherence, tracking time-off requests, and addressing scheduling conflicts.
  • Communicating schedule changes to employees and addressing their scheduling concerns.
  • Utilizing WFM software and tools to optimize scheduling efficiency and improve workforce productivity.
  • Generating reports and performance metrics to evaluate scheduling effectiveness and make continuous improvements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Singapore Contact resources and infrastructure are optimally utilized to meet business demands.
  • Analyzing historical and projected data to forecast resource requirements and demand patterns.
  • Collaborating with various departments to understand their resource needs and capacity constraints.
  • Developing capacity planning models and scenarios to optimize resource allocation.
  • Identifying potential bottlenecks or underutilized resources and proposing solutions.
  • Monitoring resource utilization in real-time and making adjustments to ensure optimal capacity.
  • Planning for scalability by assessing future growth and capacity needs.
  • Working with procurement and budgeting teams to acquire necessary resources and budget appropriately.
  • Implementing and maintaining capacity planning tools and software to facilitate data analysis.
  • Generating reports and performance metrics to evaluate capacity utilization and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Prior experience in workforce management, particularly as a scheduler, is essential. This includes familiarity with WFM software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze historical data, forecast demand, and make scheduling decisions that optimize workforce resources.
  • Effective communication is crucial for coordinating with team leaders, managers, and employees to create and adjust schedules.
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make real-time adjustments to schedules is vital in this role.
  • Ensuring precise scheduling and adherence to labor laws and company policies requires a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with WFM software (e.g., Verint, Genesys, Aspect, or others) is often required.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting to assess future resource needs accurately.
  • An understanding of business operations and the ability to align capacity planning with strategic objectives.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and software for capacity planning, data modeling, and trend analysis.
