Job Description

What the role is:You will be a member of the Facilities team to primarily conduct the mapping and verification of building and infrastructure assets in the M2 platform, and to support other works within FM department. Your job involves coordinating with key stakeholders in the course of your work.What you will be working on:Your role will involve overseeing the administration and management of the organisation\'s amenity asset management system. Your responsibilities will include :Checking and verifying GIS dataTravelling to sites to conduct land surveysEntering and amending new data into the GIS databaseDrawing maps using advanced computer software e.g. ArcGIS ProEnsuring maps are annotated and complied with correct attributes and informationConvert physical data into digital geospatial/GIS formats using ArcGIS Pro software and other relevant toolsUtilize your programming skills to develop automation tools for geospatial data processing and analysisPerform map analysis to interpret spatial data and create visual representationsValidate data accuracy and integrity to ensure reliable and consistent resultsStay updated with the latest advancements in digitization technologies and mapping techniquesTroubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to digitization and mapping processesValidate data coordinate system and load data to databaseProvide expertise and guidance to team members on digitization best practicesWhat we are looking for:Areas of study in Computer Science, Geography, Geographic Information System or similar fieldProven experience in GIS data management, digitization and understanding of GIS concepts.Proficiency in Geospatial software including AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS ProComputer programming/scripting and data analysis skillsKnowledge of modern cartographic standards and principlesStrong problem-solving abilities with interpersonal, communication skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaborationOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.Successful candidate will be employed on a 9-month contract with staff benefits.About National Parks Board:At the National Parks Board (NParks), we take pride in conserving our natural heritage and enhancing green spaces for all to enjoy in our City in Nature.
