We are looking for an individual who will drive the design and implementation of the operations of each individual campus as well as for the combined portfolio. This involves structuring the business ‘life-cycle’ of each campus in alignment with the regional portfolio. This includes:
  • Delivery of the Deloitte University brand and experience standards.
  • Developing and delivering curriculum & content related policies.
  • Establishing facility & hospitality operator management protocols including explicit service level agreements & performance indicators.
  • Developing operational processes to support calendar planning, resource allocation, the selection and contracting of vendor services, budgeting & financial control.

The role will require the maturity to engage with teams from other cultures and geographies and the ability to constructively engage these teams to deliver an outstanding result.

Achieving this will require the successful candidate to:
  • Design the overall operations framework.
  • Co-design the operations model for each site in collaboration with each campus team.
  • Deliver the agreed model by engaging and working with the DU AP campus teams, 3rd party hospitality operators and internal Deloitte learning, experience & operations teams.

The candidate will need to be able to work in multi-cultural environments, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to operate collaboratively across diverse regional teams and the core DU AP team. The role will demand the navigation and facilitation of effective relationships with a range of external parties including hospitality operators, experience designers, property managers and sub-contractors across Asia Pacific. Prior project experience and exposure in these fields would be advantageous.

The role’s primary responsibilities will be to:
  • Develop & implement a scalable, end to end, operational roadmap covering the preparation, ramp-up & run activities for any designated campus.
  • Establish operational excellence through the development and implementation of enabling infrastructure (i.e., standard operating procedures, service level agreements, measurement & management protocols) at both campus & portfolio levels.
  • Lead regular discussions with relevant counterparties (e.g., IT, Learning, operations delivery resources) and support executive engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Assist campus teams in project planning, defining scopes of work and the execution of ramp-up activities, workshops, etc.
  • Support and provide input into vendor selection & contracting processes.
  • Engage with and manage external consultants and vendors as part of ramp-up phase.
  • Provide advice and guidance on operating budget structures, cost estimates, data analysis, user-experience design & feedback loops; etc.

The role will be based in Asia Pacific and will report directly to the DU AP Strategy & Operations Lead. The successful candidate will not be required to relocate. Daily project coordination & activities etc. will occur using Zoom or MS Teams. Travel will be required as governmental and Deloitte restrictions ease to ensure that the successful candidate can engage effectively with his / her counterparts and the supporting teams for each campus in addition to appointed operating partners.
