The candidate drives business development and building new networks to support the university’s initiatives. The candidate should also have a strong interest in learning new skills, with a view to implement workplace learning solutions to achieve business growth and sector-wide learning transformation. He/she must: Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry landscape and skills research, including liaising with various stakeholders (i.e. working with lead companies and enterprises in their value-chain).
  • Foster new relationships with multiple stakeholders like strategic corporate partners and organisations with a view to identify critical skills requirements, project future or emerging skills demand.
  • Manage and maintain existing relationships with stakeholders to support initiatives like capstone projects, industry placements and workplace training.
  • Report and analyse the effectiveness of the partnership and make appropriate recommendations to enhance SIT’s partnership with industry.
Job Requirements He/she has deep knowledge of the industry, forward-thinking, creative, analytical and adept at forming connections between business needs and learning interventions. He/she enjoys solving problems and has excellent critical thinking skills. He/she is highly adaptable to different environments and has excellent interpersonal, change management, writing and communication skills (especially documenting notes of discussion and meeting minutes). He/she has strong business acumen and is results oriented. He/she is highly skilled at engaging, building relationships and promoting a collaborative and co-operative environment with multiple stakeholders. He/she works in multiple different environments, including different learning venues, industry events and client sites, and regularly interacts with digital system. Key competencies required would be
