Job Description

Responsibilities:



Manage international trade of commodities and daily operations by ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and Singapore laws Overseeing the overall business operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, scalability, and productivity across all departments. Managing senior leadership and departmental heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Leading the company's financial management, including optimal resource allocation, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Develop a new business of trading and project in line with HQ's strategy Manage a group of offices in Southeast Asia, South Asia and South Pacific regions in both corporate banking and treasury matters Oversee the company's and regional offices' financial performance, investments, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and other business ventures Oversee office daily general administration Develop and execute the company's business strategies and comprehensive plans to achieve long term goals for Southeast Asia, South Asia and South Pacific Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in guiding cross-border teams with the company and Southeast Asia regional offices and achieving growth targets. Supervise hiring, retention, training, and succession planning to ensure a high-performing workforce Provide leadership and guidance to managers and senior executives, motivating them to meet and exceed goals.

Requirements:



Proven minimum 10 years experience in international trade and project development in Korean multinational companies. Proven experience in finance & treasury including trade finance, corporate/project financing, working capital optimization, commodity hedging and risk management in Korean companies both in Singapore and other regions. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, accounting, or a related field. Strong financial literacy with experience in corporate finance, trade finance, handling budgets, trade contracts and cost management. Proficiency in SAP ERP system, multiple software application Able to manage corporate legal matters and coordination with internal and external regulators. Experience in managing/investing large-scale projects with a focus on business expansion and entering new markets. Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, accounting/tax and organisational management. Exceptional leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to handle complex challenges and responsibilities. Strong financial acumen with a proven ability to manage budgets and drive profitability. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance practices in Southeast Asia. Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices Fluent in English and Korean is mandatory to ensure effective communication with HQ in Seoul. * Ability and willingness to travel overseas regularly
