Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop, implement, and maintain procedures, operation sequences and processes throughout the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies to achieve high quality and cost-effective production.
Collaborate with various engineering departments to ensure the coordinated introduction of product enhancements or new products. Initiates, approves, and implements engineering change requests as needed to support design engineering and Operations in both new and existing product development.
Utilizes fundamental engineering principles and DFx (Design for Manufacturing, Design for Cost, Design for Quality, etc.) methodologies to assess and minimize manufacturing and/or product expenses while enhancing the overall quality of the delivered product. Determines time standards and provides recommendations for tooling and process needs based on these evaluations.
Develop and releases test procedures, while collecting operational and test data for evaluation. Analyzes the results obtained from the data and assesses work methods, procedures, and policies for potential improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standardization initiatives.
Provides support in identifying the root causes of issues that occur during the assembly and/or testing of systems.
Work with various teams to develop a statement of work.
May performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
