Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate the efficient operations within production area
To optimize existing processes and to ensure that production goals are met. Ensures attainment of level of production and activities on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly and yearly basis
Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-confirming products, low yields or product quality issues
Interfaces with quality and R&D organizations to integrate new products or processes into existing manufacturing area
Ensure manufacturing production requirements re met in terms of utilities supplies and engineering support
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the overall projects related to manufacturing equipment/design while ensuring highest levels of quality
Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products
Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at effect operation cost
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures
Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or process for current, next gen programs and to meet strategic goals
Prepares reports, publishes and make presentations to communication findings
Partner with Engineering on installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Implement, document and maintain controlled repeatable production processes
Create and upgrade equipment or process operating procedures to be used by manufacturing personnel
Development of qualification and validation protocols, participate in and/or lead qualification and validation activities
Interface with other departments and supplier to address root causes
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
Min 2-6 years of related manufacturing/production experience, preferably within Nutrition/Food Ingredients/Beverage/Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge in SAP system
Good project management skills
Able to make fast decisions and react efficiently to different situations
Good understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and techniques
