That\xe2\x80\x99s why we need you, to help us tackle increasingly complex challenges posed by ever evolving health and well-being needs.Your challenge:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Site Manufacturing Engineering Process team in Singapore APAC Team.You will be designing/defining the process specifications and implementing manufacturing systems for new products and improving existing manufacturing systems with good process capabilities; as part of an industrial team representing Batam factory Manufacturing Operations in I+D project team, which is based out of Singapore (example Netherlands, USA) & Interfacing with I&D/Category for New Product Introduction (PDLM) project activities.Furthermore, other responsibilities also include:

• All technical aspects of industrialization activities, managing/monitoring the process capabilities of part manufacturing with secondary processes and/or product assembly.
• Work closely with cross function team of I&D, Equipment, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Costing and Production to fulfill new product requirements and come up with technical proposals towards I & D to keep the manufacturing processes robust.
• Responsible for all industrialization deliverables related to the technical aspects in the New Product Introduction (PDLM) projects (process requirements, verification and validation, capability studies, work instructions, control plans, cycle time and manpower studies etc). This includes launch and subsequent maintenance of the project.
• Plays pro-active and creative role in project team and lead technical discussions throughout the project (Design for manufacturing, assembly (manual and automated), testing).
• Identify bottlenecks/risks and initiating corrective actions by working closely with relevant functions to keep the product design simple for manufacturing and manufacturing under control with high OEE and low FOR.
• Proper handover to Operations/Production after achieving consistent results over a certain period of time.
• Lead problem solving, troubleshooting on issues which happen during production

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or Materials Engineering
• Experience in product development of home appliances, personal care appliances, or similar products from design to mass production.
• Experience in working in cross functional project teams leading technical discussions through virtual meetings
• Familiar with CAD software like Solidworks, risk assessment tools like FMEA, DOE/MSA/Process capability studies using statistical tools like Minitab
• Knowledge of Joining, Mounting/Fixing, other assembly processes.
• Good communication, team player, leadership, and coaching skills
• Quality mindset
• Experience with metal (material/processes) or PCBA or coating processes is a plus.
