Job Responsibilities

Generate and update Manufacturing Instructions for Production Lines.
Evaluate and perform first level failure analysis on Production fallouts.
Production Line setup and equipment planning for new project launch. To define lean manufacturing line layout, sourcing for tooling, fixtures and equipment and prepare CAPEX for NPI build
Provide DFM and FMEA report for NPI projects.
Work Improvement or Cycle Time reduction projects.
Analyzes and plan workstation layout, workflow and conduct IE Time Study.
Update Manufacturing Instruction (MI) and Work Instruction (WI) SOP for ECN release
Manage Preventive Maintenance checklists of assembly jigs & fixtures and updating tooling master list. Prepare verification report for the assembly jigs and fixture.
Follow up on equipment calibration replacement; verify calibration report and updating calibration master list.
Setting up /updating into shop floor control Data Gating system (DGS) and resolve day-to-day DGS routing issue.
Apply Lean manufacturing concept to minimize the waste of material and labor while improving the productivity and quality of product
Involve in continuous improvement project

Job Requirements

Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Medical Instrumentation Industry, as well as knowledge in US FDA 21 FR.
Knowledge in Six Sigma/ LEAN Manufacturing and Statistical tools will be an added advantage.
