Responsibilities:
Support the mass spectrometer manufacturing process through solving technical issues.
Provide tool and fixture design for process improvements
Provide sustaining engineering support in mass spectrometry production
Work with the manufacturing and quality teams to improve first pass yield
Support line setup and perform process validation
Support engineering evaluation due to component EOL and part change
Support on manufacturing setup from NPI and Product Transfer projects
Assist the QA team in failure analysis of field return instrument
Experiences and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
Knowledge in precision engineering
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and the ability to interpret drawings
Good problem solving abilities / failure analysis troubleshooting
Good to have medical device instruments experience
Good organizational skills, self starter
A team player who is able to work well within a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
