Manufacturing Engineer

State/Province: Serangoon North Responsibilities:

• Support the mass spectrometer manufacturing process through solving technical issues.
• Provide tool and fixture design for process improvements
• Provide sustaining engineering support in mass spectrometry production
• Work with the manufacturing and quality teams to improve first pass yield
• Support line setup and perform process validation
• Support engineering evaluation due to component EOL and part change
• Support on manufacturing setup from NPI and Product Transfer projects
• Assist the QA team in failure analysis of field return instrument

Experiences and Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
• Knowledge in precision engineering
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and the ability to interpret drawings
• Good problem solving abilities / failure analysis troubleshooting
• Good to have medical device instruments experience
• Good organizational skills, self starter
• A team player who is able to work well within a team environment
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
