Job Description
- Independent handling, investigation and processing of marine insurance claims from first notice to final settlement.
- Liaison with claimants, appointment of surveyors, provide settlement advice to insurers.
- Ensuring all claims are processed in a timely manner.
- Keep insurers fully updated on developments of the claim and settlement negotiations.
- Mentoring and supervision of juniors/assistants.
- Diploma in Business or equivalent is preferred
- Min. 2 years with relevant experience in the marine industry
- Proficient in Excel
- Keen eye for detail
