Operational Oversight & Vessel Management

Daily Operations:

Manage and oversee daily maritime operations, vessel movements, and schedules for efficiency.

Maintenance & Repairs:

Coordinate the maintenance, inspection, and repair of vessels and their equipment.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to international maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and safety standards, and implement risk assessment and management procedures.

Cargo Operations:

Plan and oversee cargo operations, including preparation, loading, and unloading, to ensure smooth execution of commercial operations.
Crew & Resource Management

Crew Management:

Manage crew assignments, conduct training, and oversee performance to ensure compliance with organizational objectives.

Budget Control:

Develop and manage operational budgets, control costs, and analyze expenditure reports to ensure financial efficiency.

Resource Planning:

Develop strategies for effective resource planning and utilization to optimize fleet capacity and service delivery.
External & Internal Relations

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

Reporting:

Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and provide inputs and advice to senior management and other departments.

Policy Development:

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety across operations.
Strategic & Business Development

Risk Management:

Conduct risk assessments and develop frameworks to manage risks within the organization.

Process Improvement:

Implement workflow improvements and investigate new opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. *

Business Support:

Provide marine-related advice and support to other managers and departments, and contribute to business development strategies.
