Job SummaryYou will be responsible for providing strategic directions to the country business and create and support the implementation of strategic initiatives for the commercial team. In this role, you will grow the business through new product launches, partnerships, and expanding existing portfolios. You will also develop "In Country" marketing capabilities.You will oversee the growth of the existing business of 30 Mio $ to ~50 Mio $ as per ASEAN next plans and be responsible for generating targeted profit and marketing budget. As the current portfolio is expected to be off patent, you will maintain the existing business level and ensure growth coming from new product launches and partnerships. Additionally, you will lead local talent development which is crucial to executing ambitious plans for diverse and fragmented market space.How You Will Help Us Succeed1) People Manage and provide direction to country marketing team (7-10 FTE and contractual employees) Guide and coach team to deliver desired performance Create pool of marketing talent in country capable of handling planned growth as per ASEAN Next strategy2) Customer Create customer (farmers, retailers) specific marketing strategies and programs to achieve Quarterly and Yearly sales targets Create customer specific communication plans and execute through commercial team and through digital media including FFA Ownership of all CRM tools in country to create and analyze customers' insights and create powerful marketing campaigns to achieve sales revenue3) Portfolio Create crop focused portfolio strategy, make plans to grow existing portfolio and fill the gap through active life cycle management including partnerships Responsible for product pricing to achieve desired POS and manage marketing budget to achieve EBIT targets Develop and review positioning of key brands, create sales stories and train sales team to deliver the message to customers in an effective manner4) Strategies Primary owner of all strategic planning initiatives and timely update and submission of strategic plans - ASEAN Next, LRP, Diamide defense Provide support to country manager on all commercially strategic initiatives, in addition to above mentioned strategic topics Keep active engagement with various external stakeholders to understand and predict major market trends - Customers, Government authority, trade associations including crop lifeWhat You Will Bring to Us Agrochemical graduate or postgraduate from any discipline Master of Business Administration would be preferable At least 10-years' total experience in agriculture or related industry At least 3-5-years' experience handling strategy development, project management Ability to manage various, diverse stakeholders At least 3-5-years of people management experience Possess strong integrity Strong strategy development and project management English communication ability and other SEA language would be an advantage Established network within the agriculture industry Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and upper management -committed to helping others be successful Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time Intensive travelling (2-3 weeks in a month)
