Job Description

As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital Division aims to help SMEs use digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy. With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s economy, it is essential that our SMEs make the most of digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, develop and implement effective marketing communication strategies to ensure the awareness of SME Go Digital as well as the products and offerings from SME Go Digital.
  • Identify best mediums for various target audiences and manage marketing communications ATL activities such as print/digital/TV/OOH advertising and advertorials; etc and work closely with creative and media buy agencies.
  • Ensure coherence of messaging and narratives
  • Develop BTL collaterals and materials
  • Plan, implement and manage SME Go Digital\xe2\x80\x99s overall SEM and SEO strategy
  • Develop and implement content engagement strategies for SME Go Digital\xe2\x80\x99s CTOaaS portal to support marketing communication efforts for flagship initiatives.
  • Business Development for marketing communication channel partnerships
  • Track and analyse tech and business landscapes and trends, for creation of content for portal
  • Develop, implement, and execute key events for SME Go Digital
  • Execute administrative processes for marketing activities, which includes procurement of services, managing budgets and measurement of effectiveness of marketing communication channels. \xe2\x80\x8b

Requirements:
  • Background in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, marketing, event management and/or digital marketing
  • Strategic thinker with ability to understand the \xe2\x80\x98big picture\xe2\x80\x99 and to develop/align communications plans to effect positive outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate, adaptable to changes, with strong ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good understanding of SEO and SEM, with track record in developing and implementing integrated marketing communication plans for high-impact initiatives.
  • Experience in managing 3rd party agencies/vendors/suppliers
  • Good writing and editing skills for content and website news stories
  • Good written and spoken communication, presentation skills.
  • Resourceful and Creative - able to think out of the box to develop channel partnerships for reaching out to the different SME target segments.
  • Prior experience in the technology or B2B segment will be advantageous
