This person will work on internal and external communications projects, including web site & intranet creation, management of media, public relations and press releases. Assists with the implementation of a strategic communications program to help build brand image.The Marketing Communications Manager, SEAT will report to Marketing Communications Director, AMEA is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing communications programs to help deliver results against business objectives and priorities. This is a great opportunity to advance the Avantor brand in SEAT and the region through effective Marketing Communications approaches. You will collaborate with regional business leaders and the in-country commercial teams to help build and advance the Avantor brand.The role will also include responsibilities to oversee the planning and development of social media strategy and implementation for the AMEA region, working with the Corporate Social Media Team to ensure alignment. You will team with other members of Avantor's AMEA Communications, Global Communications team and partners to oversee program execution and measurement, and report results on an ongoing basis.The incumbent will work closely with in country senior business leaders, commercial leaders and other colleagues across the regional business team. There will be significant interface and coordination with the Global Centers of Excellence to ensure corporate alignment. The role will report to the Director, Communications AMEA.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSEAT Marketing Communications Plan and execute marketing communications activities supporting Avantor business segments and channel brands, working with members of the global communications and brand and local commercial teams to execute programs. Support new product launches with appropriate workflow for designated business segments, including promotional flyers, newsletters, brochures and related collaterals. working with in-house creative services to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of all tactics. Work closely with commercial and marketing teams on SEAT events/program planning and execution to drive customer engagement and support sales pipelines. Set goals to track the performance of campaigns and campaign tactics (e-newsletters, website content, PR share of voice for articles and interviews, and related metrics) Act as project manager for trade and customer events coordinating with necessary groups participating in event planning. Budget management and monitor campaign results, routinely reporting to Commercial and Regional Communications lead. Measure, track and analyze overall program effectiveness to determine ROI and prioritize resources. Drive and refine KPIs/metrics to ensure program performance and constant improvementRegional Marketing CommunicationsYou will have a responsibility to drive regional campaigns to support effective new product launches including proprietary and strategic products for the region. You will collaborate with the regional Portfolio Lead and business leaders to plan, develop and execute regional marketing communications programs to help deliver results against regional and global business objectives and priorities.You will collaborate with members of Avantor's AMEA Marketing Communications team as well as with its Global Communications centers of excellence to oversee regional program objectives, execution and measurement, and report results on an ongoing basis, championing global processes and workflows.Social and Digital Communications Plan and execute social media campaigns for the AMEA region to increase quality followers in SEAT and elsewhere in the region and drive engagement across social platforms while helping drive leads and brand awareness. Develop a comprehensive social media content plan and calendar to drive consistency of messaging Work with regional Comms colleagues in AMEA to drive appropriate content that will support respective business segments and drive thought leadership Ensure plan and execution meets brand and message alignment with Corporate and functional goals. Integrate best practices (both in-kind and outside our industry) for campaigns and sustained programming for broader positioning Identify and drive KPls/metrics to ensure program performance and constant Improvement Oversee creative production and publishing with both internal staff and agency partnersQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Science, or equivalent experience The identified objectives of the role require communications expertise and solid industry and functional experience of 8 - 10 years The role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a complex matrix environment. Project management skills, focused on delivery to deadlines - results driven and solutions oriented Must be capable of working autonomously but engaging others as needed Demonstrated ability to successfully manage vendors, agencies; ideally with some agency experience Social media savvy with hands on experience in managing and developing an effective social media strategy and plan for a global organization.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong writing & editing skills a must with a focus on quality control Flexible with problem solving and analytical skills Digitally-driven, with understanding of digital and social media platforms demonstrated ability in developing and driving creative, engaging content; analyzing analytics
