Job Summary
The Marketing Director oversees all facets of our company's brand and product marketing in Malaysia.
They will be in charge of coordinating, organizing, and implementing marketing strategies and developing customer service processes and researching sales growth opportunities via the above strategies.
They will take charge of the company's marketing strategies, including figuring out the best price for our product in a designated market, creating campaigns focused on the target audience and promote it.
This person will report to the Commercial Director of Sales.
Roles and Responsibilities
Developing, planning, budgeting, and implementing marketing strategies.
Direct and measure the impact of the marketing, public relation and communication strategies implemented both externally and internally. The duties include organizing, directing, and monitoring the marketing efforts to effectively reach its target audience and attend to consumers' needs with the appropriate marketing message and go-to-market strategy within the Early Cancer Detection and Clinical Genomics business unit.
Collaborate and strategize with other functional areas, such as Product Development, Business Development etc. with clear commercial alignment on goals.
Direct consumer research competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the market that can be exploited and worked on.
Strategize and develop go-to-market strategies and marketing ideas for existing products and services.
Develop marketing strategies to nurture and engage customers down the sales funnel.
Develop and expand partnership with KOLs to increase the company's brand reach and strength.
Track the performance of marketing strategies implemented, come up with timely modifications to nurture more leads online and create positive ROI.
Plan and spearhead marketing events and other campaigns to strengthen company's presence with clinicians and hospitals.
Collaborate with content teams and distributing partners to ensure an integrated marketing strategy that works smoothly on all its levels.
Develop an annual marketing budget and keeping track of the resource needs for proper long-term and short-term scheduling.
Keep track of the performing and non-performing aspects of the marketing strategy at all levels of the business.
Perform other vital duties related to marketing as assigned.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Bachelor degree or above, in any of the following areas: marketing, molecular biology.
A minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior marketing role in the field of molecular diagnostics or similar related fields. (Candidates with less years of experience would be considered to the role of Associate Director.)
Experience in the healthcare or related industries is an advantage and highly preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills to create a message and lay out strategies that the external audience can easily understand.
Always willing to learn and grow as a leader and professional. Strong leadership skills coupled with the composure required to thrive under pressure.
