About the role: We’re looking for an experienced Performance Marketer who will be accountable for our performance team and lead by example in managing the performance of key clients. With a strong grounding in and deep understanding of the Digital Marketing world, you will be an effective strategist and fixated on driving performance in the team and for the clients. Being a tool-agnostic individual, you will be pushing boundaries and constantly refining strategies and tactics to achieve KPIs in a business-sustainable manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Performance Team to achieve client KPIs
  • Directly contribute to the management of top-tier clients
  • Maintain an overview of budget pacing and goal pacing across all clients and flag performance/budget risks with the relevant team
  • Own the performance and budget pacing of key accounts and drive the performance team to achieve KPI
  • Develop digital marketing strategies and direction for new clients
  • Contribute to the onboarding of new clients by creating media plans and performance roadmap in collaboration with the Performance Team
  • Signs-off on media plans and performance roadmaps
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to sell additional services based on the needs of clients
  • Secure account stability and profitability by ensuring client happiness in a business-sustainable manner
  • Develop best practices, processes, and SOP in delivering successful account management
  • Contribute to resource planning and business forecasts
  • Ensuring the team is delivering within the scope of work and managing scope-creep
  • Set the standard for performance road mapping, media planning, campaign experimentation, and budget management
  • Lead and develop Performance Strategists, Performance Managers, and Performance Specialists
  • Develop our internal processes by documenting procedures, streamlining work, improving communications between teams, and owning the onboarding process of clients and new hires
  • Conduct individual development plan and performance review with direct reports
  • Observe and coordinate training for development areas at an individual and team level
  • Developing the skills of team members through on-the-job coaching, support, and guidance
  • Ensuring the team’s adherence to the correct processes and following best-practice


Requirements:
  • 5+ years of managing successful performance marketing teams ideally at an agency or ad tech provider
  • Proven track record in creating effective operations and driving significant impact in the management of paid campaigns
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing client campaigns and managed over $100,000pm ad spend
  • Expert proficiency in Paid channels: Search, Social (Facebook, IG, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc), Programmatic, Video Ads, Display, and Email
  • Elasticity to manage from strategy to planning, to execution, to optimization, to strategic refinement
  • Excellent people leadership capabilities
  • Superb communication skills (written, verbal) and collaboration skills (co-located, hybrid, virtual)
  • Comfort working in fast-paced geographically dispersed teams
