Objective Develops and maintains segment strategy for sustainable and profitable growth Responsibilities Develops/maintains segment strategy for sustainable and profitable growth Defines segment relative to the business unit opportunities Identifies customer product/application and service needs Monitors legislative, technological, social changes Develops market/customer value propositions (products/pricing) Conducts segmentations, prioritizes customer growth opportunities Develops & closes targets, provides presentation information, leads and accounts direction for sales (within sector) Initiates innovation projects to secure growth & provides on-going prioritization Manages relationships and is perceived as an opinion leader Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders Participates in/or leads key sector associations Develops sustainable/profitable customer/product portfolios Monitors segment profitability and initiates improvement opportunities Leads product/application launches within segment Requirements Minimum Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, finance, business administration, or Engineering such as Chemical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge field). Minimum 8 years' related experience in pricing strategies, marketing strategies and advertising/lobbying activities, sales operations, business development and/or technical development roles (preferably in polyurethanes, engineering plastics). Strongly required working experience in both multi-national manufacturing company. Experience driving and working independently across R&D, Product Development, Supply Chain Management, and Sales functions across the regional business unit Excellent oral and written English Strong knowledge of Multi - cultural understanding Basic knowledge of polymer science or chemistry Effective Business Reporting & presentation Able to work in a Complex Project Management environment
