Conduct research of market and customer information from internal and external sources including:
Market condition/environment evaluation and analysis.
Measurement of current and forecasting of future market activities and customer trends.
New market identification, competitor analysis and business intelligence.
Convert data and findings into tables, graphs, and written reports.
Assist in the development of questionnaires to ensure necessary data is captured.
Support the execution of customer and market research processes including hypothesis development, design of research methods and analysis, strategic analysis and action planning.
Conduct market research fieldwork including the following:
Meeting research requirements, standards, and schedules
Conducting face-to-face or phone interviews to collect raw data
Guiding respondents through questionnaires
Recording and interpreting information provided by respondents.
Maintain a database of market and competitor data as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for market studies.
Assist to coordinate with external vendors, research agencies and consultants to ensure the Company receives satisfactory standards of service.
Assist with preparation or collation of Marketing reports whenever required.
Provide support to Regional Marketing Manager on administrative requests and coordination requirements for specific regional marketing projects.
Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business administration, statistics, or other related disciplines.
Minimum 2 to 3 years\' experience in market research and analysis.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Knowledge in statistical analysis and modelling will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in working in a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
Prior experience in industrial equipment and machinery industries will be an added advantage.
