Coordinate and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify safety and quality standards are maintained throughout M&E works.
Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams for all M&E-related matters.
Collaborate with consultants and other trades to troubleshoot and resolve project challenges.
Manage M&E documentation such as progress reports, submittals, and quality checklists efficiently.
Support the procurement process by evaluating tenders and assisting in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor and control M&E project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budgets are adhered to.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits on-site.
Provide post-project support including defect rectification and resolving operational issues after project handover.
Qualifications:
Min. Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E coordination
Strong knowledge of M&E systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
Proficient in reading construction drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Construction Sites is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work on-site during project hours.
Willingness to work occasional weekends or outside regular hours to meet project deadlines.
