Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Degree / Post Graduate qualifications. At least 15 years of demonstrated experience in engineering, equipment selection, procurement, pre-commissioning and commissioning of rotating, static and package equipment for large LNG and Oil/Gas Projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Experience in Marine Loading Arm engineering, installation, and commissioning including mechanical handling expertise.
• Experience in design and selection of large rotating equipment for cryogenic service, including pumps and HVAC etc.
• ACMV expertise required for the following, as a minimum:
• At least 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering and execution ACMV system for buildings inside large LNG and Oil / Gas plants
• Knowledge and experience in implementation of local Singapore codes and standard
• Experience in developing key documents like specification, layout, P&ID and sizing calculation including Vendor selection

• Mechanical Handling expertise required for the following, as a minimum:
• At least 10 years of experience in generating mechanical handling report for an LNG terminal with extensive marine interfaces like Marine loading arm, fenders, gangways, etc.
• Knowledge of mechanical handling equipment and technologies
• Expertise in developing corrective and preventive maintenance philosophies and programmes.

• Noise related expertise required for the following, as a minimum:
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial noise control and environmental noise assessment.
• Be able to lead and perform noise impact studies, which include reviewing noise regulations, modeling facility noise emissions, evaluating potential community impacts, determining necessary mitigation, preparing required reports and documentation.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop equipment sound level specifications and mitigation requirements to ensure compliance with the design objectives.

• Substantial experience in engineering, equipment election, pre commissioning and commissioning of rotating equipment for LNG facilities
• Participate in Design and Operability Reviews and Design Audits
• Demonstrated experience in welding and material related technical aspects in the field of engineering for large LNG and Oil/Gas Projects.
• Must be fully knowledgeable about international codes, standards and recommended practices for Material discipline.
• Be able to write technical specifications for procurement and production related to welding and materials for equipment and piping.
• Participate in Design and Operability Reviews and Design Audits
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
• For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Location: Ubi/ Jurong Port
Salary: $7,000- $8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
This is a 2-year contract role.
