Job Description
Main responsibilities include
Apply medical knowledge and skills for diagnosis and prevention of PHC and NCD cases. Carry out
outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
Medically examines, re-evaluate screened and assessed patient by the traige and/or NCD nurse for
confirmation of diagnosis and subsequent management.
Makes request for complementary laboratory tests which will be validated by the MTL.
Makes schedules for next appointment of enrolled and unstable patients.
Manages patients in emergency care and ensures facilitation or urgent tertiary care referral.
Provide patient education according health education strategy & support technically the health education
team.
Making of monthly reports and assisting colleagues in making of trainings
Attend and participate in medical meetings or other scheduled meetings.
Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal
precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control.
Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.
Inform supervisor present in the field for any security issues arising in the locationJob Type: Fixed term
